ITINERARY
Day 1: Sapa – Tram Ton – Sin Chai

07:30 Meet your expert tour guide and driver at your hotel lobby in Sapa town. Board our vehicle for a scenic drive up the northwest pass, making a short stop at Silver Waterfall before reaching Heaven’s Gate (Trạm Tôn Pass)—the highest mountain pass road in Vietnam. Leave the vehicle behind to begin your trek down through the pristine bamboo forest of Hoang Lien National Park.

12:00 Arrive at a picturesque, tranquil spot near a rushing mountain river. Relax by the water, soothe your feet, and enjoy a delicious lunch surrounded by the peaceful sounds of the wild.

13:00 Resume your trek along the river valley. This section offers a deeper exploration of the terrain, crossing river paths and winding along the outer ridges of Sapa with beautiful countryside views toward the foot of Fansipan mountain.

16:30 Arrive at Sin Chai Village, a beautifully preserved hamlet home to the Black H’mong community. Check into your local homestay, enjoy a warm welcome from your hosts, and settle in. You will have time for a relaxing walk around the village before a hearty, home-cooked traditional dinner at 18:30. Overnight at the homestay.

Day 2: Sin Chai – Cat Cat – Y Linh Ho

07:30 Enjoy a hearty breakfast with your hosts before bidding farewell to Sin Chai. Begin the day with an uphill climb to tackle the higher sections of the trail. Once on the ridge, the path narrows, rewarding you with spectacular, sweeping views over the vast valleys before gradually descending toward the cascading waters of Cat Cat Village.

12:00 Arrive at a scenic spot near the rushing Cat Cat waterfall. Take a well-deserved break to rest your legs, enjoy the cool mist from the falls, and savor a delicious lunch amidst the dramatic canyon scenery.

13:00 Resume your trek along a different trail that winds deep through the mountain folds. The route follows a narrow, pristine river, offering stunning vistas of terraced fields and bamboo groves as you venture deeper into the heart of the Black H’mong territory.

16:30 Arrive at Y Linh Ho Village, a peaceful hamlet nestled along the Muong Hoa River. Check into your local homestay and unwind in this tranquil, riverside setting. Take a gentle walk along the riverbanks or relax with a cold drink.

18:30 Have a simple, home-cooked dinner. Afterward, take the evening to relax and enjoy a peaceful night's rest.

Day 3: Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van

07:00 Start your morning with a freshly prepared breakfast at the homestay, enjoying the peaceful morning mist rising from the Muong Hoa River.

08:00 Say goodbye to your hosts and officially begin your trek deeper into the valley. The trail leads you through the serene settlement of Y Linh Ho Village, home to the Black H’mong. You will take a gentle walk through the hamlet to observe their traditional wooden houses, unique indigo weaving crafts, and a quieter, traditional way of life before navigating the spectacular terraced hillsides toward Lao Chai.

12:00 Break for a well-deserved, relaxing lunch hosted near the riverbank. Recharge your energy with fresh, hearty dishes while enjoying the peaceful sound of flowing water and the magnificent mountain backdrop.

13:00 Resume your trek along the scenic paths of Lao Chai Village. You will walk right through the heart of Sapa's most iconic terraced rice fields, crossing small suspension bridges and capturing some of the most inspiring landscapes the region has to offer.

16:00 Arrive at Ta Van Village, home to the Giay ethnic community. Settle into a traditional, welcoming Giay stilt house that will serve as your homestay for the night. With the remaining daylight, you can take a short, leisurely stroll to capture late-afternoon valley views, enjoy a refreshing swim in the nearby river, or simply unwind with a cold drink as the sun sets.

18:30 Gather for a hearty, home-cooked dinner featuring fresh highland dishes prepared by your Giay hosts. Enjoy a peaceful night's rest in the quiet countryside.

Day 4: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai – Su Pan – Sapa

07:00 Savor your final breakfast in the valley at the Giay stilt house. Enjoy a hot coffee as the morning sun begins to light up the surrounding rice terraces.

08:00 farewell to your hosts and lace up your boots for the final day of adventure. The trail quickly leads you out of the flat valley floor and climbs gently into a stunning, lush bamboo forest. You will walk beneath a vibrant green canopy, listening to the rustle of bamboo leaves and enjoying cooler forest paths with occasional openings that reveal sweeping views of the valley below.

12:00 Arrive at a spectacular, shaded clearing near a roaring mountain waterfall. Take a seat on the rocks, rest your legs, and enjoy a fresh, hearty lunch packed by your guide. The cool mist from the waterfall provides the perfect natural air-conditioning as you recharge.

13:00 Resume your journey toward Giang Ta Chai Village, the homeland of the Red Dao ethnic minority. You will pass by their rustic wooden homes and terraced fields, spotting locals dressed in their iconic, vibrant red headscarves. After a short rest near the lower falls, follow a narrow, ascending dirt trail that winds out of the valley basin and brings you up toward the main ridge.

16:00 the main road at Su Pan Village, marking the triumphant completion of your trekking expedition. Your private comfort vehicle will be waiting here to greet you. Look back one last time at the immense valley you have crossed before enjoying a scenic 30-minute drive back to Sapa town, arriving around 16:30. Trip ends.

  • Terrain: Expect a beautifully diverse landscape that shifts from cascading rice terraces and rustic suspension bridges to narrow, winding trails beneath the rainforest canopy. The route combines gentle valley walks with rugged, uneven footpaths that include steep ascents and descents requiring steady footwork. While physically demanding in parts, the entire trek follows natural dirt tracks and mountain paths, with no technical climbing or specialized gear required.
  • Suitability: Perfect for active travelers and nature lovers who enjoy a good physical challenge. No previous trekking experience is required; however, participants should be in good health and possess decent stamina to comfortably manage the steep terrain and daily hiking hours.

2. Homestay

  • Overnight Stays: True to traditional highland hospitality, the homestay features a warm, communal setting. Guests will sleep in comfortable, well-appointed beds arranged in a spacious shared room (dormitory-style), or across separate traditional bedrooms within the house. Each sleeping area is fully prepared with clean linens, cozy blankets, mosquito nets, and pillows to ensure a restful night's sleep in the mountain quiet.
  • Facilities: While the homestay embraces a simple and rustic lifestyle, it is equipped with clean, modern, and fully functional shared bathrooms and western-style toilets. Hot water is available, allowing you to enjoy a refreshing shower and unwind comfortably after your ride.

3. Food & Water

  • Meals: All meals showcase authentic, hearty local cuisine designed to replenish your energy. Breakfasts are served hot at the hotels, lunches are enjoyed at handpicked local restaurants along the cycling route, and dinners feature diverse regional dishes.
  • Water & Energy: Clean, safe drinking water and energy-boosting snacks (such as fresh fruits or local treats) are supplied daily during the tour. 
  • Hot Beverages: Complimentary hot tea or coffee is generally available during breakfasts at the homestay.
