Our Environment

Developing responsible tourism with respect to nature goes beyond merely advocating for environmental protection; it requires concrete actions aimed at minimizing the negative impacts of tourism activities on the natural ecosystems of tourist destinations. This demands a synchronized and rigorous process across all stages—from tour design, equipment selection, and operational management to establishing regulations and guidelines that encourage tourists to join in protecting the environment. We believe that even small actions, if contributed by everyone, can safeguard nature and benefit us all. Below are some practical examples of actions Umove Adventure is taking to reduce the negative environmental impact of tourism:

Proper waste collection and disposal—removing inorganic waste from forests or disposing of it according to regulations, and guiding tourists to dispose of trash in designated areas.
Limiting single-use plastic bottles—encouraging tourists to bring personal water bottles or use stainless steel bottles provided by Umove Adventure.
Reducing emissions—prioritizing green transportation methods such as walking, cycling, or electric vehicles.
Using eco-friendly products—selecting shampoos and body washes free of chemicals harmful to nature.
...
Not only do we adhere to our own principles, but we also apply the "Leave No Trace" code of conduct, a system of seven "ethical" principles for those engaging in outdoor activities. The goal of Leave No Trace is to help people interact with nature responsibly. In other words, these principles guide us on how to visit and leave nature in its original state—or even more beautiful than when we arrived.
