ITINERARY
Day 1: Sapa – Tram Ton – 2800m (-, L, D)

A memorable mountain adventure begins today. Travel by car from Sapa toward Silver Waterfall, one of the best-known scenic stops on the road to Tram Ton Pass. After a short stop for photos, continue driving to Heaven Gate, the highest mountain road pass in Vietnam. From here, enjoy stunning views toward Fansipan and across the surrounding mountains.

The trekking route is relatively gentle before lunchtime. After a couple of hours of hiking, stop at a pleasant spot in the forest for lunch.

In the afternoon, continue trekking with a mix of ascending and descending sections toward the campsite. Along the route, there are many opportunities to admire beautiful views over the Sapa area and the landscapes of Lai Chau Province.

Arrive at the campsite at around 2,800 meters above sea level in the late afternoon. Relax and enjoy a well-prepared dinner.

Day 2: 2800m – The top of Fansipan – 2200m (B, L, D)

After breakfast, begin the climb to the summit of Fansipan. Reaching the top is the highlight of the journey, where you can celebrate your achievement and enjoy the most spectacular mountain views of the trip. Fansipan sits in the Hoang Lien Son Range, the core mountain system of the Sapa area.

After time at the summit, begin descending and stop at a pleasant place for lunch.

In the afternoon, continue on a more demanding downhill trek through rainforest. This section requires more concentration, as the trail can be steep and challenging. By late afternoon, arrive at the second campsite at around 2,200 meters above sea level, where you will spend another night in tents.

Day 3: 2200m – Sin Chai – Sapa (B, L, -)

Wake up in the cool mountain air and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the forest before beginning the descent back toward the valley.

Today’s route continues downhill through well-protected forest. After around two hours of trekking, stop for lunch.

In the afternoon, continue descending toward Sin Chai Village, home to the Black H’mong people. Along the way, enjoy beautiful valley views and the surrounding mountain landscape. Sin Chai is also listed among Sapa’s recognized community tourism villages. After a short stop in the village, transfer by car back to Sapa, where you can relax and celebrate the successful climb.
