Hoang Su Phi is a district of Ha Giang province and is one of the most attractive destinations in the Northwest for trekkers and those who love taking photos of terraced fields. Different from the impressive and somewhat harsh scenery of the rocky plateaus in Dong Van and Meo Vac, Hoang Su Phi has an extremely poetic and surreal beauty of terraced fields stretching endlessly in the landscape of mountains, forests, and green streams.

» To experience Hoang Su Phi more fully, combine it with a paragliding tour to see the terraced fields

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Notes on the trekking route

  • Our trekking route will not be too challenging in terms of altitude or distance, although we will have to climb some small slopes. Most of the time, we will walk on trails connecting from one village to another. Some sections will take us through the forest, but the vegetation is not too dense. The trail is not difficult, but trekking shoes or trail running shoes are required. You may also use trekking sandals (such as Keen-style sandals). The average trekking time per day is about 5-6 hours, including rest time.

2. Food & beverages

  • The meals on the tour are quite diverse and feature a lot of “local flavor.” If you have dietary restrictions or are vegetarian, please notify our tour operator in advance so that we can prepare suitable meals for you. In cases where we cannot accommodate special dietary requests (for health, medical, religious reasons, etc.), we recommend that you prepare and bring your own food.
  • Water will be fully provided on the vehicle and while boating. We encourages customers to minimize the use of single-use plastic and nylon products. Therefore, we recommend that you bring a reusable water bottle to fill up from the large containers we provide.
  • Alcoholic beverages are not allowed while trekking. Alcoholic drinks and soft drinks are not included in the meals.

3. Protecting the environment together

  • We supports and practices Leave No Trace principles in each program and outdoor activities itself. We also encourage our customers and partners to apply to Leave No Trace principles when traveling in the outdoor environment. See details about the Leave No Trace tại đây
  • In order to limit the use of single-use plastic, we encourages each of us to prepare for ourselves a bottle of water with a 1L capacity for daily water refilling.
  • On the tour, tourists comply with the instructions and regulations on environmental protection at the destination.

4. Medical assistance

  • If you have cardiovascular disease or bone and joint diseases (knees, ankles, shoulder joints, etc.), you should consult your doctor before deciding to join the trip.
  • The tour guide will carry a basic first aid kit. If you have any medical problems that require medication, you should bring your own medication.
