ITINERARY
Night 1: Hanoi – Nghia Lo

19:00 Meet at the designated departure point in Hanoi and transfer to Nghia Lo, Yen Bai.

Dinner stop on the way if needed.

23:00 Arrive in Nghia Lo and overnight at a local homestay.

* Note: Dinner is not included.

Day 1: Nghia Lo – Tu Le – Trailhead – Overnight Camp

06:00 Wake up, breakfast, and prepare for the trek.

07:00 Depart from Tu Le after the final gear check. Unnecessary items can be left at the homestay. Continue by motorbike transfer to the trekking starting point.

08:30 Start trekking through the first forest sections and varied mountain terrain.

11:30 Lunch break on the trail.

After lunch, continue ascending toward the overnight camp.

16:30 Arrive at the overnight camp in the old-growth forest zone. Rest, wash up, and recover after the day’s trek.

18:30 Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 2: Overnight Camp – Lung Cung Summit – Nghia Lo – Hanoi

04:00 Wake up, breakfast, and prepare for the final summit push.

06:30 Reach Lung Cung Peak. Rest, take photos, and enjoy sunrise and panoramic cloud-sea views.

08:30 Return to the camp / shelter, pack up, and begin descending via the same route.

11:00 Picnic lunch on the way down.

13:00 Return to the trailhead and transfer back by motorbike / vehicle toward Tu Le and Nghia Lo.

14:30 Transfer onward and enjoy a relaxing hot spring soak / recovery stop after the trek.

17:00 Early dinner with local Northwest specialties.

19:00 Depart for Hanoi.

00:30 Arrive in Hanoi. End of the program.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Trekking Notes

  • Distance: The trekking route is approximately 14 km per day.
  • Terrain: This will undoubtedly be one of the most pristine and diverse trekking routes you have ever experienced, featuring a rich variety of unique ecosystems. The journey takes you through primary forests with ancient chestnut trees, bamboo groves, and grassy hills near the summit, as well as vast valleys nestled between mountain ranges. During the harvest season, the landscape is further enhanced by vibrant terraced rice fields, creating a truly spectacular and colorful panorama.
  • Suitability: This route is ideal for most fitness levels, including beginners. Not for children under the age of 12

2. Acommodation.

  • On the second night, we will stay in a wooden mountain hut. Sleeping arrangements include air mattresses or insulated sleeping mats, along with blankets or sleeping bags to ensure a comfortable overnight experience.

3. Responsible Travel & Environmental Protection

  • Reduce Plastic Waste: To limit single-use plastics, we encourage everyone to bring a reusable water bottle (minimum 1L capacity). Refill stations will be provided throughout the trip.

4. Health & Safety

  • Medical Considerations: Your safety is our priority. If you have a history of cardiovascular conditions or chronic joint issues (knees, ankles, shoulders, etc.), please consult with your doctor before booking this trip.
  • Physical Fitness: Please maintain a regular walking routine of approximately 5–7 km per day in the weeks leading up to the tour to ensure you are adequately prepared for the trek.
  • Transparency: Please inform our tour guide of any existing health conditions or allergies at the start of the journey so we can support you best.
