ITINERARY
Day 1: Ban Ba Jungle Lodge – Ban Ba Waterfall - Campsite

13:00 Meet your guide at Ban Ba Jungle Lodge. After a welcome briefing, your guide will introduce the trekking route, review safety procedures, and distribute any necessary equipment before setting off on the forest trail.

The trek follows the Ban Ba Waterfall system upstream, passing Waterfall 1 and Waterfall 2 before reaching the spectacular Waterfall 3, the highest and most impressive cascade in the valley. Along the way, you'll walk through lush tropical forest, cross wild streams, and enjoy numerous viewpoints overlooking the cascading waterfalls.

15:30 Arrive at Waterfall 3. Enjoy free time to swim in the crystal-clear natural pool, take photos, or simply relax while surrounded by pristine rainforest and the soothing sound of the falls.

17:00 Trek back down to the campsite near Waterfall 2. Upon arrival, work together with your guide to set up camp and prepare for an unforgettable night in the forest.

18:30 Enjoy a freshly prepared BBQ dinner around the campfire. Spend the evening relaxing beneath the stars, listening to the sound of the waterfall before settling into your tent for the night.

Day 2: Trekking back to Bản Ba Jungle Lodge

07:00 Wake up to the soothing sound of the waterfall and enjoy a freshly prepared breakfast with tea or coffee at the campsite.

08:00 Take one last opportunity to swim in the crystal-clear natural pool or simply relax and soak in the peaceful forest surroundings before leaving the campsite.

09:00 Pack up camp and begin the trek back downstream, passing Waterfall 2 and Waterfall 1 before returning to Ban Ba Jungle Lodge.

11:00 Arrive at Ban Ba Jungle Lodge.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Trekking Notes

  • Distance: Approximately 6 km over two days (around 3 km each way).
  • Route: The trail follows a combination of forest paths, rocky sections, stream crossings, and natural steps as it winds alongside the spectacular Ban Ba Waterfall. The route passes Waterfall 1, Waterfall 2, and Waterfall 3, offering beautiful viewpoints, lush tropical vegetation, and several crystal-clear natural pools ideal for swimming and relaxing.
  • Suitability: Suitable for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness who enjoys nature and light trekking. Previous trekking experience is not required, but participants should be comfortable walking on uneven terrain and negotiating occasional rocky or slippery sections.
  • Safety Notes:
    • Wear sturdy trekking shoes or sandals with good grip, as some sections may be wet and slippery.
    • Follow your guide's instructions and stay on the designated trail at all times.
    • Take extra care when walking on rocks near the waterfalls and while crossing streams.
    • Swimming is only permitted in designated areas under the guide's supervision.
    • The itinerary may be adjusted depending on weather and trail conditions to ensure participant safety.

2. Camping.

  • The campsite for this tour is located beside Waterfall 2, depending on weather and site conditions. Basic toilet and bathroom facilities are available nearby. You will be provided all essential camping equipment, including tents, sleeping mats, and sleeping bags.
