This is a special exploration of the Red River, starting from the Nhat Tan Bridge and ending at the Long Bien Bridge. Not only is it a challenging conquest, but it is also a river cruise that offers a unique perspective of Hanoi. One of the most attractive highlights of the program is the opportunity to watch the sunset at the banks of the Red River by the historic Long Bien Bridge.

ITINERARY
Paddle Station Cafe - Silver Wharf - Red River - Long Bien Bridge

* Join-in group Tour: Depending on the weather and the capabilities of the group members, the tour guide will decide whether to paddle according to Option 1 or Option 2.

* Private Tour: Guests can choose either Option 1 or Option 2 based on their personal ability. However, it is recommended to consult with an expert when booking the tour.

 

* Option 1: Silver Wharf - Long Bien Bridge Route

13:00 - Boarding the vehicle at the meeting point to go to Bac Wharf, the starting point for SUP paddling.

13:20 - Arriving at Silver Wharf. Inflating the SUP, warming up, and listening to instructions from the tour guide.

14:00 - Start paddling downstream towards Long Bien Bridge. Taking a break to swim at a riverbank along the way.

17:00 - We will dock at a sandbank in the middle of the river to relax and enjoy snacks with some drinks. This is the time to chill while watching the beautiful sunset over the Red River.

18:30 - Paddling back to the dock and boarding the vehicle to return to the pickup/drop-off point. End of the tour.

* Note: The paddling distance is 8 km.

 

Option 2: Silver Wharf - Confluence of Red River - Duong River - Doi Co Temple Route

13:00 - Boarding the vehicle at the meeting point to go to Silver Wharf, the starting point for SUP paddling.

13:20 - Arriving at Silver Wharf. Inflating the SUP, warming up, and listening to instructions from the tour guide.

14:00 - Start paddling downstream towards Nhat Tan Bridge.

16:00 - Stopping at a riverbank to watch the sunset.

17:30 - Paddling back to the dock and boarding the vehicle to return to the pickup/drop-off point. End of the tour.

* Note: The paddling distance is 6 km.

  • Waterproof trekking shoes
  • Winter: warm clothes, windbreaker, thermal jacket, wetsuit
  • Summer: Quick-drying clothes, long-sleeved swimsuit (rashguard), hat, sunglasses, gloves, sunscreen...
  • Undergarments
  • ID card or Passport
  • Water bottle (1 liter)
  • Flashlight

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Notes on the SUP paddle route

  • Before entering the water, you will receive theoretical guidance, including techniques, how to use the equipment, and safety instructions.  
  • You need to wear a life jacket and a leash properly.  
  • When paddling, be aware to avoid obstacles such as branches and stones. Staying close to the shore and always watching out for motorboats on the river.  
  • Strictly following the instructions of the tour guide.

2. Drinking water & snacks

  • Drinking water will be provided in abundance for the whole trip and during the paddle. Umove Adventure encourages customers to minimize the use of disposable plastic and nylon products, so we recommend bringing a reusable water bottle to refill from the large containers we provide.  
  • Snacks include cold drinks, fruits, and cookies. If you are on a diet or have special dietary requirements, please prepare your own snacks.

3. Protecting the environment together

  • We supports and practices Leave No Trace principles in each program and outdoor activities itself. We also encourage our customers and partners to apply to Leave No Trace principles when traveling in the outdoor environment. See details about the Leave No Trace tại đây
  • In order to limit the use of single-use plastic, we encourages each of us to prepare for ourselves a bottle of water with a 1L capacity for daily water refilling.
  • On the tour, tourists comply with the instructions and regulations on environmental protection at the destination. 

4. Medical assistance

  • If you have cardiovascular disease or bone and joint diseases (knees, ankles, shoulder joints, etc.), you should consult your doctor before deciding to join the trip. 
  • In any case, if you go into the water to swim, you must wear a life jacket.
