IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Notes on the trekking route

  • Our trekking route will not be challenging in terms of height although we will have to climb small slopes. Most of the time we will go on trails connecting villages to other villages. Some sections will be through the forest but not too dense. The path is not difficult but you need to wear trekking shoes or trail running shoes. You can use sandals for trekking (Keen style).

2. Camping at Eye of God mountain & homestay in Khuoi Ki village

  • We will provide 2-person, 3-person, 4-person tents at the camping site (glamping) of our partner Ecocamp. The tents have mattresses and blankets. At this camping site, there are toilets, bathrooms and other amenities to make your camping experience the most comfortable.
  • At Khuoi Ki village, we will use the traditional house of the Tay people in this famous stone village. Depending on the time of booking, we will arrange a dormitory (on 1 floor) or private rooms for 2, 3, 4,... people. The homestay has a toilet and a hot shower.

3. Food & drinks

  • The meals on the tour are quite diverse and have many "local identities". If you are on a diet or vegetarian, you need to inform the our operator in advance to prepare suitable food for you. In case you have special dietary requirements that we cannot meet (for health, medical, religious reasons, ...), we recommend that you prepare your own food.
  • Drinking water will be provided daily at a rate of 2L/person/day. We encourages customers to limit the use of disposable plastic and nylon products, so we recommend that you bring a water bottle (reusable type) to get water from the large bottle we provide.
  • Alcoholic beverages are not allowed while trekking. Alcoholic beverages and soft drinks are not included in meals.

4. Protecting the environment together

  • We supports and practices Leave No Trace principles in each program and outdoor activities itself. We also encourage our customers and partners to apply to Leave No Trace principles when traveling in the outdoor environment. See details about the Leave No Trace tại đây
  • In order to limit the use of single-use plastic, we encourages each of us to prepare for ourselves a bottle of water with a 1L capacity for daily water refilling.
  • On the tour, tourists comply with the instructions and regulations on environmental protection at the destination.

5. Medical assistance

  • If you have cardiovascular disease or bone and joint diseases (knees, ankles, shoulder joints, etc.), you should consult your doctor before deciding to join the trip.
  • The tour guide will carry a basic first aid kit. If you have any medical problems that require medication, you should bring your own medication.
