If you are looking for a mountain trek that combines a rewarding summit with one of the most atmospheric forests in northern Vietnam, this journey is an excellent choice. Ta Lien Son stands at 2,996 metres above sea level and is recognized as the sixth-highest mountain in Vietnam. What makes this route especially memorable is not only the summit itself, but the forest scenery along the way: ancient moss-covered trees, dense ferns, red maple leaves in season, and rhododendrons that give the mountain an almost fairy-tale character. This is an ideal trek for travelers who want a true overnight mountain experience with wild scenery, forest immersion, and sweeping views over Lai Chau’s highland landscape.
