ITINERARY
Hue City Center – Thien Mu Pagoda – Lim Wood Bridge

08:00 or 14:00 The guide and driver from Umove Adventure will pick you up at the meeting point and transfer the group to Thien Mu Pagoda. After around 15–20 minutes of travel, we will arrive at the pagoda, where guests will be provided with SUP boards and all necessary equipment.

After preparing the boards for the paddling trip along the Huong River, the guide will give a short introduction to basic paddling techniques and safety rules for paddleboarding on the river. Personal belongings can be stored on the support boat throughout the trip.

We will then begin paddling downstream toward Hue City. The destination of the trip is Lim Wood Bridge. Along the way, we will stop at Da Vien Islet for a short break and enjoy light snacks. After around 20 minutes of rest at Da Vien Islet, we will continue paddling past Da Vien Bridge and head to the finishing point at Lim Wood Bridge.

10:30 or 16:30 End of the tour upon arrival at Lim Wood Bridge.

  • For private tours, guests can pay an additional fee to visit Thien Mu Pagoda.
  • When visiting cultural or spiritual sites, guests are required to wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts.

1. SUP paddling Notes

  • Distance: The trekking route is approximately 6 to 7 km per day.
  • Terrain: Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) along the Huong River from Thien Mu Pagoda to Go Lim Bridge offers a truly poetic journey, allowing you to glide gently over calm waters in the heart of the former imperial capital of Hue. Departing from this historic and spiritually significant pagoda, an iconic symbol of Hue, you will immerse yourself in a tranquil and picturesque setting, where lush riverbanks, shaded by rows of trees, blend harmoniously with peaceful rural landscapes.
  • Suitability: This route is ideal for most fitness levels, including beginners. Families are welcome, children from 6 to 10 years old are eligible to participate.

2. Responsible Travel & Environmental Protection

  • Reduce Plastic Waste: To limit single-use plastics, we encourage everyone to bring a reusable Reusable bottle (minimum 1L capacity). Refill stations will be provided throughout the trip.
  • Local Regulations: We kindly ask all guests to comply with the specific environmental regulations and instructions provided by our guides at the destination.

3. Health & Safety

  • Medical Considerations: Your safety is our priority. If you have a history of cardiovascular conditions or chronic joint issues (knees, ankles, shoulders, etc.), please consult with your doctor before booking this trip.
  • Physical fitness: Train by running or kayaking/SUP at least two weeks in advance. Run 2–3 sessions per week, about 5 km per session. Alternatively, paddle 2–3 sessions per week, covering 5–7 km per session.
  • Transparency: Please inform our tour guide of any existing health conditions or allergies at the start of the journey so we can support you best.
