ITINERARY
Hoi An - Cam Thanh - Cua Dai - Hoi An

04:30 Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to the kayaking launch point in Cam Thanh.

After a brief introduction to basic paddling techniques and safety procedures, begin kayaking along the Thu Bon River toward Cua Dai Beach. As the river opens to the sea, watch the first golden rays of the day rise above the horizon, creating a peaceful and unforgettable sunrise experience.

Continue paddling to Duy Hai Fish Market, where local fishermen return from their overnight fishing trips and the morning seafood trade comes to life. This authentic riverside market offers a fascinating glimpse into the daily routines of the local fishing community.

After exploring the market, enjoy a traditional Vietnamese breakfast and freshly brewed coffee at a local eatery while soaking in the tranquil atmosphere of Hoi An in the early morning.

The journey continues through the peaceful mangrove forest near the Thu Bon estuary, often referred to as Hoi An's "Little Amazon," before paddling back to the starting point.

08:30 A vehicle will then transfer you back to your hotel. Tour concludes.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Kayaking Notes.

  • Distance: Approximately 7 km of paddling, with a total duration of 2.5–3 hours, including stops for sunrise viewing, visiting the fish market, and breakfast.
  • Route: The route follows calm rivers and sheltered waterways, making it suitable for first-time paddlers.
  • Suitability: Suitable for beginners and anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. No previous kayaking experience is required, as a full safety briefing and basic paddling instruction are provided before departure. Children aged 10 years and above may participate when accompanied by an adult.
  • Safety Notes: Personal belongings such as phones and cameras should be stored in a waterproof dry bag. Follow your guide's instructions at all times and stay with the group. The itinerary may be adjusted depending on weather, tides, and river conditions to ensure the safety and comfort of all participants.

3. Health & Safety

  • Medical Considerations: Your safety is our priority. If you have a history of cardiovascular conditions or chronic joint issues (knees, ankles, shoulders, etc.), please consult with your doctor before booking this trip.
  • Physical Fitness: Please maintain a regular walking routine of approximately 5–7 km per day in the weeks leading up to the tour to ensure you are adequately prepared for the trek.
