ITINERARY
Hoi An - Cam Thanh - Duy Vinh - Hoi An

08:00 - The tour guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the starting point for kayaking in Cam Thanh. After the guide provides instructions on basic kayaking skills and shares the safety regulations, we will begin kayaking toward the ancient town of Hoi An. You will enjoy a unique view of Hoi An from the river, getting a deeper sense of its once-thriving famous trading port. We will stop for coffee at a local riverside cafe.

10:00 - Kayaking towards Cam Kim Island. Here, you will walk to visit the villages of Kim Bong and Duy Vinh, where you can explore a few families engaging in traditional crafts such as vegetable farming and mat weaving. You will taste some local dishes before continuing to kayak to the nipa palm forest.

13:00 - Coming back to the starting point. After freshening up and changing clothes, you will head back to the hotel. The end of the tour.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Kayaking Notes

  • Before getting in the water, you will be given theoretical instructions, including techniques, how to use the equipment, and safety guidelines.  
  • You must wear life jackets properly.  
  • While kayaking, be mindful of obstacles in the river, etc.  
  • Staying close to the riverbank and always being aware of motorboats on the river.  
  • Strictly following the guide's instructions.

2. Drinks & Beverages during the Riverbank Café Stop

  • Drinking water will be provided both on the bus and while kayaking. Umove Adventure encourages customers to limit the use of disposable plastic and nylon products, so we suggest bringing a reusable water bottle to refill from the large water containers we provide.  
  • During the tour, there will be a stop at a riverside café. Each customer will receive one beverage, such as coffee, tea, or any non-alcoholic drink.

3. Protecting the environment together

  • In order to limit the use of single-use plastic, we encourages each of us to prepare for ourselves a bottle of water with a 1L capacity for daily water refilling.
  • On the tour, tourists comply with the instructions and regulations on environmental protection at the destination. 

4. Medical assistance

  • If you have cardiovascular disease or bone and joint diseases (knees, ankles, shoulder joints, etc.), you should consult your doctor before deciding to join the trip. 
  • In any case, if you go into the water to swim, you must wear a life jacket.
