The day is devoted to a beautiful hike through the breathtaking scenery of Sapa Valley.
We begin with a road transfer from Sapa, descending along the direction of Cau May Street toward Muong Hoa Valley. Along the way, enjoy wonderful views of the rice terraces, often hidden in the early morning mist.
The trek starts on a small trail leading down into the valley. We cross the Muong Hoa River and walk past well-tended rice terraces on the way to Lao Chai Village, home to the Black H’mong people. This is one of the most scenic sections of the valley, with beautiful mountain views and terraced fields stretching across the hillsides. Muong Hoa is especially known for these layered terraces and village trekking routes.
Continuing through the colorful terraced landscape, we reach Ta Van Village, where the Giay community lives. We then keep trekking along the Muong Hoa River and cross a small suspension bridge, about 2 km from the village. Here, you will have the chance to discover a fascinating collection of ancient rock carvings, featuring images of people, stilt houses, and decorative patterns.
Lunch will be served at a local house in the village.
After lunch, the walk continues through a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai Village, a village of the Red Dao ethnic group. After a short rest near a waterfall, we begin climbing uphill to the main road, where the vehicle will be waiting to transfer us back to Sapa.
