ITINERARY
Con Son Island - Bay Canh Island - Tai Island - Con Son Island

1/2 day tour departs in the morning or afternoon depending on your chosen time

07:30/13:30 - Arriving at the pick-up point. Boarding a canoe to Bay Canh Island.

08:00/14:00 - The canoe will take you to Hon Bay Canh. On the island, you will see sea turtle specimens, see turtle egg hatcheries and learn about sea turtles as well as the most successful sea turtle conservation work in Vietnam of Con Dao National Park. Then you will visit the mangrove forest on the island.

09:30/14:30 - Boarding a canoe to Tai Island. Listening to an introduction to point A3 on the Vietnam baseline. Visiting deep inside the island to see some of the island's typical flora such as red-faced monkeys, square-headed cycads,...

10:00/16:00 - Swimming & snorkeling to see the beautiful coral reef ecosystem of Tai Island.

11:30/17:00 - Heading back to the main island. Car takes you back to the hotel. End of the tour.

IMPORTANT NOTES

1. Notes on tour activities

  • The activities on the tour have an average level of movement and do not require great physical strength. The requirements for trekking and diving experience are also at an average level. However, this tour has a very prominent highlight: watching sea turtles lay eggs on the beach, which requires following the instructions of the rangers.
  • Overnight at the ranger station on the night of watching sea turtles lay eggs has very basic conditions. At the ranger station, there are private rooms for 2 people or 3,4 people/room. However, in case of many guests, you may have to sleep in a hammock.

2. Food & Beverages

  • Meals are local and include seafood. If you are allergic to seafood or have any food restrictions, please let Umove Adventure know when booking your tour.

3. Protecting the environment together

  • In order to limit the use of single-use plastic, we encourages each of us to prepare for ourselves a bottle of water with a 1L capacity for daily water refilling.
  • On the tour, tourists comply with the instructions and regulations on environmental protection at the destination. 

4. Medical assistance

  • If you have cardiovascular disease or bone and joint diseases (knees, ankles, shoulder joints, etc.), you should consult your doctor before deciding to join the trip. 
  • The tour guide will carry a basic first aid kit. If you have any medical problems that require medication, you should bring your own medication.
