08:00 Your adventure begins in the morning as your expert cycling guide meets you at your Sapa hotel for a comprehensive tour briefing and bike fitting. Once your gear is perfectly dialed in, pedal out of Sapa and immediately begin the exhilarating ascent toward O Quy Ho Pass (Heaven’s Gate)—the highest paved road in Vietnam. Reaching the summit, you'll take a well-deserved break to soak in the jaw-dropping, panoramic views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range and the plunging valleys below.
From the peak, reward yourself with a thrilling, winding descent through spectacular landscapes. At around 12:00 PM, we roll into the market town of Binh Lu for a relaxing lunch break. Here, you’ll enjoy a hearty meal of local dishes, rest your legs, and experience the laid-back pace of this mountain crossroads.
In the afternoon, the journey continues through stunning valleys home to diverse ethnic minority communities. As you glide past terraced rice paddies and remote hillsides, our support vehicle will trail close behind to offer a lift on any challenging sections. Finish the day with a smooth, rewarding run into the valley of Tam Duong for your overnight stay.
